Third-party licences
Last updated: 2026-10-17
PaperCV is built on work other people gave away, and every one of those licences asks for the same small thing in return: that the copyright notice travels with the code. A minified bundle drops it, so it is published here instead.
Typefaces in the interface
Served from this domain, which is what makes this section necessary rather than a courtesy: those files are copies of the Font Software, and the SIL Open Font License 1.1 asks that each copy carry its notice.
Instrument Sans — OFL-1.1
Copyright 2022 The Instrument Sans Project Authors
Instrument Serif — OFL-1.1

Typefaces in your PDF
These are embedded into every résumé PaperCV generates, which means the PDF you send an employer carries them too. The OFL expressly permits embedding a font into a document, so your file is unencumbered: you can send it anywhere, and nothing about these licences attaches to your résumé or asks anything of whoever receives it.
Inter — OFL-1.1
Copyright 2020 The Inter Project Authors
Source Serif 4 — OFL-1.1
Copyright 2014 The Source Serif 4 Project Authors
